I am really suprised by how truely rigged the powerhouse generators are. This past weekend I aquired 2 at an auction. They had been laying around for years and not stoerd very well, and one has a cracked brush holder. Brought them home and hooked them up to the charger and they both motored over just fine. Went back to the auction site on Wednesday to pick up some things that I had the auctioneer help bid on for me as I had to leave before they got to them. Was talking to the iron man that was loading up things he had bought and he said anything in thaat pile I wanted i could have. laying in the dirt was another powerhouse and other parts which I grabbed.The Powerhouse was froze up, but for free I could not complain. had some time today to work with it. Opened it up and it is a 5 brush with a good brush holder. I removed the holder and worked on loosening up the armerature shaft. After about 10 minutes the armerature shaft was frees spinning. Next I worked of freeing up the brushes. Took about 45 minutes on them and they all moved. Put it back together and it motors over just fine also. That was a shocker for me beings it looked like it had been laying in the dirt for 40+ years. Rod
