years ago i read a book regarding WW II plant transformation and worker housing in Michigan. for the life of me i have not been able to find it in an internet search despite numerous attempts.

You might have better luck with your question on the Early V8 or Model A forums. Not a lot of people look here, along with this section is more for questions about use of the site or problems using it.

By the way, just doing a quick internet search using WW2 Ford workers housing turned up these; https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=WW2+Ford+workers+housing
