Restored Model A Ford horn, this horn was assembled from parts, motor plate and motor are Sparton, projector shows no markings, Ames style cover, horn was completely disassembled, blasted, motor plate was painted under motor, motor reassembled and horn assembled with new gaskets, bolts, and bracket, horn was then painted in acrylic enamel as a unit, cover was separately painted, this is a very nice horn for a driver, has no markings for high point show, has nice sound, a good horn for your car. car pictures 131 001.JPG

This horn is still for sale, I will not give it away and stand behind all the horns that I restore, I have a Stewart Warner and EA ready for paint that will be available next week for $235 each, same deal, fully restored, nice sound, a quality horn suitable for show. Thanks for your interest, Alan

Thanks for your reply, any rust that you see is 80 years of dirt and some surface rust, the motor assembly is in excellent shape, works nicely, didn't need rebuilding, contacts and brushes were cleaned and reassembled, horn was lubricated and adjusted, has nice sound, there is no need to make the internals pretty and at the price you are lucky to get a decent unrestored horn that you have no idea of condition for a few dollars less, I stand behind all the horns that I have done for over 35 years. Alan

Hello Bill, Since you are a senior member I will not reply, if you wish to see my horns look me up at Hershey OBF 15-16 to see the horn for yourself, pictures don't tell the real story. Alan
