Repro 30-31 deluxe open windshield frame

I'm in the market for a reproduction 30-31 open windshield frame. I'll likely buy an unplated frame, machine the holes for the snaps and dry fit to the car, then disassemble and plate. All of the major Model "A" dealers seem to have these frames on hand. I don't know how many manufacturers there are for these frames or how to determine what dealer sells what frame. I'm wondering if anyone has had a good or a bad experience with any of these frames. I'd like to know about your experience and where you bought the frame. Hello, I have a 31 roadster with what I assume is a repro Deluxe frame. I believe the car was originally a standard, it seems to fit ok , but unfortunately I don’t know when or who it was purchased from. Hopefully get more posts , good luck.

I sold a repro frame awhile back.

it did not come close to the original as to thickness and quality........ have no idea who it was made by. Yes it will do if you have nothing else, but I would try and find an original.
