A question came up at French Lick meet. Wire clip A-14592 ,screwed to right top terminial box under gas tank[inside car] for wires. This clip 1928/29 calls for a [round opening in bracket with round rubber grommet for wire to go thru][electric wiper].Later 1930/31 this so called bracket was used for vaccume line support for wiper motor [open cars]and cowl light wire [ R/L corner of cowl -3- needed total] but said to change to oval opening with oval rubber grommet in 1930/31 .BUT when?? I have 2 Deluxe Phaetons with orginial bracket that were still there and both had Round opening with round grommet. Both Cars are July/Aug meaning both built somewhere in May/june time frame. Anyone found the same to be true? thanks , i forgot to put this little bracket in before the meet and did not find it in judging standards..

Peter, you may already have this information but there's an article on this subject in the July-Aug. 1998 Model A news by Hans Kalinka.
My friend's early '31 roadster un restored, had round holes, so that what I used for my Aug. '30 roadster. What does Marco have?

Thanks very much lindy , Found the back issue and there it was.. But it calls for a elongated hole and not what i found on BOTH 180A 's.. I think maybe late 30 this elongated bracket was used and round upto that time... Doc. States top left side screwed on "T" box... people are saying right top side... and without a rubber grommet?? rattle rattle?? that does not sound right.
