pot metal repair

ok i'm working on a 66 mustang left vent window frame. inside door is broken so i find one on e--- win it arrives saturday and you guessed it the same ear is broken from shipping . my question is can pot metal be repaired i was thinking of j b weld or a product like that now that i have 2 broken in the same spot.thanks

Not sure it will work in your case Frank, but I have used it, and it sure did the job. Try it, as the worst case is you end up with 2 pieces again.
