Possible Model T gear puller?

got this old puller I was told it might be for a model T? possibly for transmission or u-joint? This puller is marked " J and B" and part number A-9673. I search google with this part number and company name with no luck. anyone can identify this, much apricated.

Don't think so. I can't think of anywhere on a T that it would work. The reach between the outer u and the puller is too great.

I agree. I've been collecting T 's, parts and tools for60 years and Ive never seen a tool like this. If it were a T tool there would a lot of them around.

Try a starter drive in the puller part. I can't tell much size from those pictures.

It looks like the long legs would go up to the Hogs head, and pull against that instead of the end of the starter shaft?

I had sorta thought the same thing but decided that it is a bit cramped for space in that area anyway.
