What is the best way to polish a windshield? The last issue of Eastwood Catalog doesn't show anything. Is there a home remedy?

what are you trying to do? remove calcium deposits stains? if so polishing compond and very fine steel wool, if trying to remove scratches in my opion your wasting your time, if you can feel the scratches you will never remove them, any windshield shop will tell you that, its usually cheaper to replace the window

Powerblock tv had a segment on polishing glass a few weeks ago on the muscle car portion. Looked like it worked or at least made the it look better than it was.

Like Fordestes said, a polishing type of toothpaste and a polishing/buffing wheel or pad on a drill or simular orbital tool, and be prepared to spend some time on lite scratches. Forget about scratches that catch your fingernail as you scratch accross them.

Roger,
Eastwood definately does sell a kit to polish away scratches and wiper marks. If you realize it will take patience, you can remove most scratches. I restored a T-bird some time ago and actually used sandpaper on very bad scratches, gradually finer and the buffing with the pumice from Eastwood. It can be done!
