i guess i am lost.
why not just install the later bell housing and flywheel (non multi disc type) and get rid of the modified one?
on multi disc type the bell housing, pedals, and transmission case are different. i don't see why the attempt to mix and match.
one other thing. that pilot bearing does not rotate when the clutch pedal is released, only when it is pushed. that noise was when the clutch pedal was released.
if you want to pay the shipping $$$ i have a nice flywheel you can have free.
