Part/Metal Tumbler (********)

Anyone have a part/bolt/nut or metal tumbler/******** that they use for rusted items? I have seen them for $100 bucks for a 5lb capacity. Do they work well? Also, I just saw the same type of tumbler at a Bass Pro Shop for a 1/3 of the price. Anyone know the difference?

IS IT WORTH THE INVESTMENT???

I use to use a commercial one at work and it worked great for cleaning. Used a cleaning solution with water and smooth stones in it. In fact i had the kids collecting beach pebbles to use in them by the box full like 1/2" to maybe 1" diam worked just as well as the bought stuff and they were free. ken ct.

I have one from Eastwood and it works well, but not fast. The gook removed in the process needs to be cleaned out between uses and the media washed (plain water). I cleaned a set of valve springs and it took a couple of days( inner, outer, and flat damper). My vibratory cleaner has about a 12" dia tub. I recommend the larger tubs.

Got mine from Harbor freight about $65.00 If I remember correct.
Only problem is I did not tighten the top down enough one time Cracked cover Totaly my fault.
As others mentioned Very slow prossess but works well /Don't over load
More is not always better!!!
