After the nice write up in Street Rodder mag last month (they mentioned us and my book) we've had a ton of calls re overdrive trannies and the parts. I've always had some of that in stock, but we just filled out a dedicated webpage for those items. Additional pics and prices will go up as we get the chance. Thanks to all who have contacted us for parts! :)

Mac, do you offer or know of anything that interchanges with overdrives from the early 40's Lincoln?

The sun gear and planetary gear for sure. I believe the ring gear is the same (but the output shaft it connect to is different for all but perhaps the 49-50 Merc OD). Quite a few of the small internal parts are the same, but again.....not all. Depends on the year. Most of the earlier L-Z overdrives shared a lot of parts with the 49-50 Merc but beyond that it's pretty much the 3 pieces I mentioned above.
 
There were 2 generations of the Lincoln overdrives, with the Ford overhaul booklet showing the early variant parts being replaced by the late ones in service. There is a lot of interchangeability between the late Lincoln 12 and the '49-50 Merc OD unit...look at all the stuff with H part numbers (meaning Lincoln 12) in the Merc parts book!
Right now, the book is out on loan to Pete so don't remember what parts or years correlate with late vs early Lincoln.
 
I'm not hunting anything specific at the moment, haven't dug into my pile to make a good one yet. Just thinking if parts interchange with whats available it might broaden the market of people for Mac, if the site listed what works....

I'm sure personally I'll atleast run into needing some gaskets and whatnot, if nothing else...
