Overdrive cable sheath to ****** clip

The governor will operate correctly, there is no need for a shut off switch. It (the governor) does what is supposed to do....come on at 28
mph and shut off at a lower speed.
At least it does that in my '56...........works great,

That's the way it's supposed to work. It just won't have kick down for passing. If you want it to drop out at speeds above 23 MPH then you need either a rigged switch or a normal kick down system. A person would have to slow way down or stop to lock the system out if they wanted to.
