oil pan drain plug

Hello; First time posting and new to the forum. I've been reading the Barn and getting a lot of help and great information from other peoples posts. I'am putting together a 1940 pickup. I'am putting in a 8ba motor and having trouble finding a oil drain plug to fit the oil pan. Its not the pan that has the clean out on the bottom, this one has the drain plug in the side of the pan. The closest size I can find is a 3/4 bolt but nothing with the correct thread. I have other flathead motors but none with this size drain plug. Any information on where to find a drain plug to fit would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for any and all help. I know this sounds like a minor problem but I dont want to ruin the oil pan or threads on it.

Have you tried "Early Ford v-8" or "Macs" ?

C&G Early Ford Parts lists three different plugs for sale. Under engine parts.

As a last resort you could make one if you have access to a lathe.

I got an old Ford drain plug at NAPA, but that was about 10 years ago.
Worth a try though, they still might have them.
