For some reason my O/D now kicks in at about 22mph instead of the 28mph area, just started. I noticed on top of the gov there is a plastic cap with a screw behind a seal, that I removed, and it appears it's an adjusting screw for the kick in and out. Does anyone know anything about the adjusting of this screw? I guess I could turn it one way or the other to see if anything changes but thought I would throw the question out to all you in the hopes that someone will have had knowledge of this. I have looked in all my ford books and nothing addresses the adjusting of the gov.
