New T Speedster

BUBBAS IGNITION

Well-known member
Sharing some pics of my friend Jake Knapps new T Speedster. Looking pretty good. Rich Brannon ( sprint car dude) is doing the headers and I went by last night to set up the ignition system , pretty damn cool car.!! Howie in Jamestown built the engine and trans , hopefully we can test run and be at Newport Hill Climb next week etc.......
Headers are pretty cool to be made up from scratch.

And check out that "Bubba" distributor curved and modified for the T engine.....:)

Great looking Speedster and the headers really add to it. Who built the body? I would like to see a good profile photo if you can get one. Thanks for sharing...

Wow Thanks Jim! This is the first time I have seen this thread! Here are a few more pics from along the way and the finished product. Huge Thanks to Bubba for all his help with getting this one on the road! Made it up the hill at Newport.

I like the picture of the rusty block. It reminds me of some of the projects I've worked on. I always figure if it's not punched out to the water jackets or cracked wide open, its worth stickin' time and money into.

I like that picture too. I love taking what most people would call a rusty piece of junk and making it new again. I sandblasted the block, had it machined, I even got to pour the babbitt and reassemble it with help from a fellow here in town.
