new heads

At long last the new heads are done,we started with a raw casting and fully machined them ourselves, except for the O ring groove.
All we have to do is make up the water system and its ready to go to the nostalgia round intwo weeks.
Thanks to JWL ,Old Ron, and others who gave valuable advise.

Wayno, where have you been hiding,
The heads are from Garth Hogan in NZ, we got them as cast and then came days and days of machining.

Heck Lawrie. I've been hiding at Bonneville. For the record, I've emailed you with no response. I'll try again. :D Wayno
 
G'Day Lawrie,
A quick question re the ign timing. Do both the plugs fire together or are they set up like the Mazda rotaries with one trailing by a few degrees?. Damn sweeet looking engine you have there.

marty garth hogans son is now making the heads.i believe hes also making them for v12 lincolns
 
Gary,the plugs are on two competely separate systems.we had planned for two days at the engine dyno ,but we ran out of time ,so we will set the timing up as we used before on the last set up and trail the other plug by a yet undetermined amount.
