That is a drop-dead gorgeous car.
I took my new girlfriend to spring Carlisle, and pointed out what I could about old Fords and parts. She has zero background in olde cars of any sort. After a bit of walking, we came to a restored '40 convertible...she just stopped dead in her tracks and took it in for a looong time. Then she closed in and started noticing all the beautiful little details of the '40 dash and trim...she really got it. That car just GRABBED her the way car makers wish their showroom models would!
