i bought a 64 ranchero 2 yrs ago in pa it was taken for nonpayment of storage fees so no papers
i have a ny bill of sale and a letter of intent to forfeit form the property owners lawyer does anyone have any insight as to what i need to do to get a title in n.y. vin was run by police and comes back clean
has'nt been on the road in 10 + yrs has a ford replacement motor dated 1989
body was fairly clean with exception of rt 1/4 that was smashed and rt axel that was bent bought a 65 convert.rot box 
and sectioned the panel and wheelhouse bought a repop 1/4 and used the lower section lot of work but came out good
did the floorpans next is the rear behind the seat from floor about 12 in. up just under bed floor line i'm hoping all my work was worth it if i can't get papers i guess i'll have to find an apron and a door tag that match with papers 
any recomendations on a title search company will be helpful or advice if someone else had a similar problem .thanks
