Modern starter drive problem

After reading all the dicussion on the "new starter drive" -- When they first appeared on the Model A scene they were manufactured in Canada by the Wilson Starter an Alernator Co. The the drives started to appear being made "off shore" to back up the Canadain made drives I have then on our two A's one has 40,000 miles and the other with 20,000 miles and no problems with wear, and that means many, many starts I am sure. This drive was designed with no bolts to drop into the flywheel housing. I have seen some flywheel housing where the drip hole with the cotter pin has been drill to 1" so the bolts would fall out and not get caught . I use the 6v starter with 12v system. My 2 cents worth Gord. B
