My Model Ts are all open cars. If you are in an accident while traveling at any speed over 30 MPH, you can kiss your *** good bye, whether it's an open car or a closed car and whether or not you are wearing seat belts or not. I was lucky, as I was coming to a stop when I hit the guy who cut right in front of me, but the belt kept my but planted in the seat, instead of my head going through the windshield. If you get hit hard enough for you to roll over upside down, I doubt whether you are going to survive regardless of a seat belt or not.
