Main Cap Installation

[Fat Fender]

I'm starting to reassemble a 59A flathead that I acquired in pieces. When installing the main caps, the rear is easy (it can only fit one way). Is there a right and wrong way to install the middle and front caps? If so, what is the right way?

if its an inserted engine the bearing locking tabs go on the same side of the engine,
