lightweight 12 v battery recommendation

I have ordered Snyder’s gear reduction 12 v starter for my 29 racer. H & H touring build on 31 block (zero Hour) with Snyder 5.5:1 head, inserts, cam and oversize stainless valves. Been looking at 2 different lightweight Braille batteries:

B2317, 17 LB, Pulse Crank Amps = 1191, Amp hour = 23

B3121, 21 LB, Pulse Crank Amps = 1380, Amp hour = 31

Which one should crank the engine well?

Anybody recommend a different lightweight battery?

This is the question to the editor section not for car questions. But I will ask, why do you need a gear reduction starter if you are only using the 5.5 to 1 head? People use the 6 volt stock starter on higher compression engines then that. The stock starter with 12 volt field windings should be more then up to the task. If you are trying to save weight why not just go with and Optima battery?
