Late 31 budd cab seat questions

I am working on a late 31 budd cab pickup project, Looking for seat spring specs. Need the dimensions of bottom spring and backrest.
Is there any other alternatives for budget minded (cheap) projects?

I replaced the springs in the seat and back with a plywood bottom and back. On tip of that I used several different thicknesses of Temper foam. The look indistinguishable from the original other that the fact the back is thinner giving me more legroom. They are much more comfortable.

I've built them before.I naver kept any measurements,as every in-place build is different.One thing I will say is to build the cushion first,and layer it to whatever heighth you like best.Then build the backrest to match.All you need to rough it in is a tape measure and the truck in front of you.A friend just did his 30 closed cab,he said that $550.for a set of new springs was not going to happen.

I replaced my seat with a pair of reproduction CJ5 seats. Gives me more room and are much more comfortable. Cost was considerable less than rebuilding what I had.

Any idea how close seats from a 28-29 roadster pickup would fit the late 31 budd cab pickup? Thanks
