I cant believe it

As most of you know, I've been working on and learning how to drive the 26 coupe. One thing that has always bothered me was that the mag did not work. Never really tore into it to see what the problem was, until today. After reading the forum, I removed the mag pick up as instructed and sure enough, there was some lint build up. Cleaned it and reintalled and now I have a working mag. Never in a million years did I think it was going to be that easy. A couple questions though....

The spark advance seems more sensitive running on mag....is this normal? And now that I dont need to run the coils off of a 12v battery....where do I pick up 6 volts at the switch, battery or where?

As always all input is appreciated
Rob

Charlie, the terminal block is where I need to get the voltage to.....how do i get it there...with a jumper wire from the battery or somewhere else....perhaps the generator?

Here is a wiring diagram.

The power to the terminal block is provided by a big thick 14 ga yellow wire from the starter switch under the floorboards. Goes to # 3 post, then to the switch, "Bat" terminal.
