Huckster assembly question

We have a vehicle in my shop that was a Taxi Cab in Mexico in 1987. It is a 1927 Model T huckster body. The vehicle was totally disassembled by someone, and the mechanic died. We have been given lots of parts in boxes. The engine has been rebuilt, but I need some ideas as to wiring. I want it close to original, but safe and reliable. Engine will have a distributor assembly, starter and generator.
Also, I can't figure out the inside area of the firewall. We can not find a dash of any type, and need to know where to begin. Even if I have to build/make a wood dash plate. There is just the firewall right now. We have no switches or gauges, just an engine ready to go back in. If anyone has any photos they could email me, or a place to start, I would appreciate any help.

Thanks!!

A key with light switch and an ammeter was about all on the dash except carb controls and maybe an accessary speedometer. Find a reproduction owners manual and you will be in business!

The truck or commercial chassis instrument panel was often like the one on the truck pictured. It usually would be in the center.

The wiring diagram may help. As stated before, a manual would be a good investment.

The bracket picture is too concentrated to know where it is on the car???

The brackets are on the inside of the firewall area about 1/2 way up each side of the firewall outside surface. I'll get another photo further back.

Here is a photo of the inside area of the firewall. The brackets are seen on each side about a foot off the floor. Any ideas what they are??

The brackets originally went from the firewall to behind the upper door hinge to give strength to that area. They have used about 1/2 of the original cowl as well as the firewall when making the huckster body. The brackets were simply cut to the same length. They now do nothing & could be removed or used to mount a dash board.

Attached are pictures of a very dirty 26 dash panel & the firewall of the same car. You can see the rivets holding the bracket about 2/3 up from the frame.

As Jack posted.

Here is inside view. The dash on that hack was pulled from the '26-'27 open car cowl, the dash is riveted to the body, and has that riveted frame member too you can see in this photo. Without the rest of the cowl which has the oval upper cowl form with the holes to mount the '26-'27 instrument panel, you'll have to fab some way to attach an instrument panel or else use the commercial car shorty switch panel.
