How do you hook up a hot air heater

I have a hot air heater that I’m trying to figure out how it is connect to the vent part that I’m holding, which when installed, will go in the firewall. (See the pictures). Somehow I have to run a pipe (or hose) from the end of the outlet of the manifold heater to the end of the vent. Does someone have this setup in their car that can post a picture where I can get an idea how to connect. This is for a 1935 car but maybe other years would be the same Thanks.

Coupe35:Look under a 11-10-2010 Post by Clem Clement and a 11-17-2010 reply by FL&WV MIKE for a copy of the Installation sheet for the 1935-36 hot air heater. Shown connecting the heater unit to the dash register are the hose (originally asbestos) and an elbow. This setup probably will work with your heater although your heater unit appears to have been an aftermarket one, as well as the air intake pipe at the front. By the way, do you have any numbers or names stamped on that unit that would help identify who made it?
