I bought a 1938 ford coupe.Problem is I don't know if it has the right hinges,needs springs or what.Where can I find a picture of a hood installed with a clear picture what it's suppose to look like? Thanks Big Doug
You should get a copy of the restoration guidelines for your car from the Early Ford V8 Club. (https://www.earlyfordv8.org/store-product-item.cfm?id=9&pid=2) I don't have a copy (but I also don't have a '38 Ford) based on their other publications I am sure it is in there. If by some chance it is not in there the book is still a good investment. You should also post your question in the Early V8 Forum of this site (http://www.fordbarn.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=4) where more people will see it and respond to it.
