Hood Pad to Dash Clamp Screw

Does anyone have a A-20236 Hood Pad to Dash Clamp Screw which came off of a 1930 28-29 style gas tank used on the early 1930 commercial vehicles?

If so, what is it's length from end of the hook to the bottom?

Thanks.

I looked at the hook on an early 1930 AA popcorn truck a few years ago and it looked identical to the hooks on my 28 Phaeton and 29 Tudor.

Steve, I am not sure I understand what part you are asking about and I can't find that part number in any book or catalog. When you mention a "screw with a hook", and the "hood pad", the only part that I can picture is the one that holds the cowl lacing to the front lip of the gas tank. Is that the part you are asking about? If so, would it be any different than any other 1928-29 cowl lacing hook? I can measure an original one on a 1929 Coupe if that will help.

The hook SUPOSEDLY changed in two different ways. First it went from 1 inch in length to 3/4 inches in length (PPL's); and the second was the "shape" of the "J" hook itself according to the Engeniering Information on the Part Releases. Now weather it occured or not, I do not know because of all the ones I have are 1 inch in length and the hook is the same shape.
