Hessian Blue Pictures

I am trying to determine how my 1930 CCPU would look painted in Hessian Blue. Does anyone have a Model A pickup or even coupe/sedan, whose exterior is painted Hessian Blue? If so would you post them on this site or email pictures to me. Thanks.

As you may or may not know, Hessian blue was specifically a trim colour for Lombard blue.
In the grand scale of colours I'd call Hessian a very STRONG colour
...thus it's used sparingly.
Hessian really "brings out" Lombard blue as they share the same aquamarine toner and it's a pretty colour combination indeed! :)

Whatever colour you choose to grace your ride with, keep in mind that STRONG colours tend to generate STRONG opinions.
To paint your Entire Model A with this trim colour I'm sure plenty of folks will say they just LOVE it
......but, you might ponder for a minute how you (and potential passengers) may feel about the occassional negative comment, rolled eyes and smirks which such a strong colour could potentially generate when applied to the entire body?
The Model A has lots of class, everyone loves em no matter what.
....The darker colours just seem more dignified.

*The coupe below was at the Vancouver MAFCA meet. Looking at the colour chart... I feel that true Hessian blue looks slightly more tourquoise green than what we're seeing here.
