I have a stuck #3 exhaust valve . I have pushed on it gently through the plug hole and no movement. What would be the best (read easiest) steps to take to fix it.Thanks

Spray WD40 or Kroil on it through the plug hole. It should run down to the guide and free it. You might be leaking water from a cracked head, block, or head gasket causing the guide to rust to the valve and eventually getting water in the oil pan. good luck

Soak and soak more with Kroil. I have also had to remove valve cover and squite kroil on guide from the inside. it may take a bit of time but normally works. Last on eI had I soaked it 4-5 days - spraying a bit each day and tapping through the spark plug hole before it was free. let us know how this turns out.

I usually just pull the side cover.. Rotate the engine until you're on the flat of the cam and carefully pry the valve closed.. Spray a little 'goop' on the valve stem[ from top and bottom] and work it up and down until frees itself..

If you don't have Kroil you can make a 50 50 mix of acetone & automatic trans fluid and soak it with that thru the plug hole. Be patient. It will eventually free up.
