I've had this behind the dashboard lamp for a number of years. I thought I removed it from under a 34 Ford dash board. Can anyone help me identify it. Thank you, Tom

Does not look like like a 34 Ford part but looks like a trunk lid mercury type switch socket. Test it by putting power (6 volt) on it and then rotate it to see if the mercury switch turns the bulb on and off. Regards, Kevin.
