glass top sealer

Does anyone have a suggestion as to what sealer I should use for installing the plexiglass insert on my 54 skyliner?

Urethane sealer they use on newer windshields i would think would work. I have bought it at parts stores in a caulk type tube

That is almost the same as my car. I didn't use any sealer.

Personally I wouldn't get modern urethane sealer anywhere near your top.

It is extremely unforgiving and quite permanent.

Maybe a professional glass installer would have some insight; but unless you found the right guy, old cars are not in their wheelhouse.
