ford V8 60

I'm going to say yes, shop I worked at in the 60's did a rebuild on one and at age 16 I wondered what a ford flathead was doing in a "foreign" car.

Yep Simca, just sold one complete from fan to transmission, the exhaust port divider between the center cylinders are cast in the block, came from factory with adjustable lifters, nice flowing exhaust manifolds, 12 volt and dual points.

Well, if you like that, here's some pictures that might be of interest. In Brazil they took the engine and upgraded it with ohv, hemi heads, similar in design to the very rare V8 60 Ardun heads. Called the Emi sul.

Yeah, there was a lad in Portland, Or a few years ago who had one and posted up some vids of the engine running on a stand. I found some old posts he did, but the links are no longer working.:(
