Ford Brake Drums - Axle Register Sizes

Having trouble finding brake drums for what I have been told is a late 50's Ford 9''. The biggest issue is finding a brake drum with the right size axle register. Been told 1956 Victoria or 1959 "Police Special" drums may work, but can't find information on the axle register size. Anyone have a source for drum specs, to include axle register sizes?

What I have:
Early Big Bearing axle flange
Axle flange offset is 2 3/8''
Axle register is 2.78
2 1/4'' brake shoes
Shoes and backing plates for 11'' drum
Lug pattern 5 on 5.5

I think most of the cars with the 9-inch were likely the same from 1957 when they came out until into the 60s somewhere. Pickups had the 5 on 5.5" lug stud pattern while cars have the 5 on 4.5" lug pattern. The axles were available in 28 and 31-spline and I don't know what the dimensions are. When they started changing the center holes I don't know. The 9-inch wasn't the only rear axle used in the late 50s so the water gets muddy.

There is a fellow on the HAMB that goes by Wheel Kid that knows all that stuff.

A lot of variations for the Ford 9-inch. A person has to follow all the internal and external characteristics to find out where it came from. Nodular cases are generally marked with an N somewhere. There are three different axle housing bearing flange patterns & two sizes. Some housing tubes are tapered and some are straight. Carrier housings also vary. If it still has a tag on it then it may tell.

The bolt up of the brake backing plate and the fact that it has 2 1/4" width drums tell a story that needs more follow up. Spline count on the axles can also have an affect. It may be a later rear axle as JeffB2 indicated. You will just need to confirm that.
