Fog Lamp Info

I'm planning to buy a new pair of amber fog lamps from Speedway Motors for my 35 which I'll use for my front directionals. However, they appear to be offered for 12 volt use only. Does that mean I'll have to rewire them for a 6 volt
system and also buy 6 volt bulbs? The lights in question are offered for sale by
Speedway Motors for $33.99 each which appears to be a very good price. Has
anyone purchased any of these and, if so, how's the quality of the chrome?

Normally 6v system would use heavier gauge wire than 12v. However, since they will not see a constant heavy draw as signal lights, I believe it would not matter. So, you'll just have to change bulbs to 6v
