Hey guys I have a couple of quesitons relative to removal of my engine and ****** from my 26. The body is off and I am planning on taking the radiator out. Do I need to take the front fenders and aprons off ? The book says the engine left and right pans have to be removed but the pictures I have from an old repair manual are terrible to see. Does anyone have any close up photo's that they took in this process. Thanks Tom

Body can stay on, but now that's yours is off, real easy.

Fenders stay.

Just disconnect everything to the engine. Remove all the little pieces you want. The steering column needs to come up, but you removed the body so that is gone. Remove the bolts holding the crankcase to the frame on both sides, and the straps to the back of the ******, and remove the 4 bolts holding the rear of the motor to the driveshaft.

Just don't forget to disconnect the wishbone from under the crankcase, or you will never lift up the motor :)
