Anyone out there capable of engraving the 5 speed shift pattern (with the 5 numbers & R)in an orig 36 gear shift ball? I put a T-5 in my 36 5W and love'n it.Thanks

You might try your local trade school.......some have CNC mills and could easily set it up as a project......and it will probably be free.....

A suggestion. Don't engrave the original. Replace it with something already engraved. Someday, you might be glad that you didn't mutilate the original. 8^)

Have you thought of a decal or sticker? Might not last forever, but then it could be replaced if necessary or removed if desired.

Use one of the later(bigger and flatter 38-39)) repo knobs and take it to a trophy shop. They can easily engrave it.

Ever see the old Ed Roth decal of a 14-speed shift pattern? That would be easy for a trophy shop to trace, and would render the car absolutely theft proof...
