Say I has ca 280 cu in.
Ex, 3.875" stroke ( +1/8" ) and 3.437" bore ( +1/4 )
The cam is Potvin eliminator 425.
Good ignition, or say decent ( Kurten or Kong )
Decent compression or heads or what one like to call it on a FH..
Very light valvetrain.
Modern ring tech.
Not a street rod.
Urgent on RPM.
Limited use.
Light crank, light flywheel/presuare plate.
Light car.
Say intake is a low mount race x4 direct port with tubes between 'risers'.
I has 2 LZ carbs and 2 Stromberg 97.
I can get either 2 extra LZ or 2 extra 97.
What cfm do they get ?

Will that thing even on best tuning not run good as over carburated.
( say 150 ? x 4 = 600 cfm )
I heard the LZ can has venturis from the 97 so they flow the same.

Alan, So can I install a 97 venturi in a LZ and they become equal.
How much flow a 97.
X4, to much for 280 cu in ?

I doubt that would offer any advantage, even if it were possible.
Beyond that revelation is above my pay grade.
