Electro Tech turn signal evaluation

I have been working with the Electro Tech turn signal since early last week and can't get it to work reliably.

First off I would like to stress that I have talked several times by phone with the developer and he couldn't have been more helpful and considerate.

The first unit would only work when the car was running, not when stopped. After several diagnostic tests we determined that it was a subtle voltage issue probably related to a bad batch of relays. It worked at 6.4 volts, but not at 6.3 or lower.

I sent the unit back and received another today (almost instantaneous turnaround). Now it works when the car is NOT running but it doesn't work when the car IS running. My next step is to conduct some tests with the unit wired directly to the battery.

These units apparently had some issues with RF ignition interference in the past, but that was supposedly fixed in the current design.

I will update as events transpire.

Question:
Has anyone out there had any experience with this product?

Thanks

Have had enough problems with a signal stat type I picked up at a large swap meet this spring, box said rodtique (they have a website) ordered new from Bert's today.
Paul in CT Glad I didn't go hi-tech

An alternative is a GENUINE Ford turn signal assembly from a 56 or so pickup.
Easy to wire and you have auto cancelling just like any late car.

You've done this in an A with stock column including spark and throttle levers?

Photos, please?

When I did these (3) I didn't have a camera.
I did not use the spark and throttle arms.
I did look at the possibilities of using them though and
it would be relatively easy.
