I pulled the starter on my 1931 CCPU to put on the modern style Bendix and low and behold I discovered a 1/2" drive starter was installed.
I got another starter with a 5/8" shaft rebuilt to put back on with the modern Bendix but now I have this 1/2" shaft starter that I have no use for and really want to get out of garage.
It has the 1928 service drive on it (looks like the 5/8" drive from all other Model A's).
I don't know if this is a Ford unit, or a aftermarket/reproduction as I don't have the history behind it. It is marked with H001505 and then a "C" turned 90 degrees. It used to work, but I can't for 100% say it does as I can't remember that last time this truck ran.
I have no idea what this is worth, and I know shipping will be expensive due to its weight. I have no use for it, and really don't want to just junk it, so if you're looking for part for your 1928, make me an offer of what you think is fair and its yours if you pay the shipping.
Shipping would be from 89423 and I can use USPS, UPS, or FedEx. I attached a picture of the numbers, if you'd like more pictures or pictures of a specific spot, please just ask.
