Drippin' gas line inside

I used a gas proof teflon tape on my lines after a year of messing around becuase i thought "it worked in the 30s, it can work today!"
it could not.

mind you, i wrapped around the flare and threads, careful not to obstruct the holes.
not a drop since.

Guten Abend, hilfreiche Ford A Kenner!

Today I received the wafer-thin copper cone washers. I coated both sides with a very thin layer of Curil-T to act as a lubricant and tightened the flange screws without using excessive force.
Everything is 100% leak-proof!

A very special thankyou goes to Yankee Blockhead, who knew about and recommended at first this simple spacer!

Dankeschön, Ihr fernen Fordfreunde!
