Drake Cowl Vent Seal

Awhile back I got one of those new cowl vent seals from Bob Drake for my 46 coupe and since I have a few days off for the holidays, I thought about installing it. The problem is I am not sure which side is supposed to face up and would appreciate it if someone could set me straight. Also, can this be installed without having to remove the cowl vent? I feel a bit embarrased asking but I'll get over it! Many thanks.

You can install it over the vent lid. Be careful with the glue of course. The side with the radius'd edges goes down.

Yes, the radiused edge is the edge that is rounded. Suggest you use very light coating of silicone glue . That glue won't 'eat" the paint.
