Distributor Screw hole in Head

After havinga head cleaned out and Magnafluxed plus milled. I out the hed on the engine with a good (New) FEL-PRO 7013 R3 Gasket. Went to install the distributor to set the timing and WOW! The hole in the head was stripped out and the Screw would not tighten. This is a first for me and would never have thought of checking that beforehand. I had to dig out another Head to use but it sure hurts to go through all of that for nothing (but education!).
Does someone know of a way this can be fixed besides drilling it out and using a bolt (I have seen several of those) but I sure would not want to do that. Thanks.
 
In this case I would install the correct size Heli-Coil insert. They work good.
 
Thanks, I have no idea why I did not thnk of the Heli-Coil. I have used many on a Model A. I do appreciate the wake up information.
