I have a list of "favorites" a mile long.

Is there a way to "move" them around and place certain ones in certain spots?

Quite frankly...I have done this before but forgot!

Which web browser are you using? All of them have ways to make separate folders and you can arrange the favorites where you want them.

I keep all of my important ones such as FordBarn on my favorites bar at the top of the browser.

Let me know what browser your using and i'll give you specific instructions.
 
I do desktop icons for my most favorite sites pluck, when on site right click and "create shortcut" , not that answers your question but a thought.
 
On Firefox you can organize bookmarks into folders. I have one for "Model A" another for "Model T" another one for "Saved Fordbarn Threads" etc etc. On the bookmark tab just click "Organize Bookmarks" and you can set up folders however you like.
 
Click on book marks and you will see an entry "organize book marks".
Click on it and a list of book marks will appear.
You can then right click on the ones you do not want and delete them.
