are coil inter changeable from 1935 to 1948 how do you tell the year of motor in car

no, 32 the easiest way for 32 to 36 is the water pumps on the front of the heads

'35 and early '36 interchangeable....don't know how you can tell a specific year between those years....late '36 to '41 are the same coil....from there on should be the same....link is to MacVP's website about IDing flatheads....good luck...Mike
