My friend did most of the body and paint i just helped take it apart sand, and help put it back togeather, and paid for everthing. my friend has built several hot-rods in the past and is one of those guys that can do anything, a real craftsman. we did it in his garage.

Thank's Glenn,
I know it's not correct, and it will never be judged, i just like to drive it on the weekends and maybe a car show at at one of the arbey's rest. on a sat night. i really don't care about any awards or that kinda stuff. just something to ride around in and blow my Ahooga horn :D.

Louis, that's a sweet looking coupe!
Mine is a 1930 Deluxe, and I'm considering red for the paint color, also. Is yours a standard Model A red? Which one?
;)Mike

Thank's Mike,
When i bought it last aug. i was told it was a coupe deluxe, i don't know the diff. i just like A models, i remember the 1st one i bought at age 16 for $60 from the man next door, i gave him $20 down and told him i would make payments on the $40 every mo. But after 30 days i had to let it go back because i couldin't make the payments. that was in 1954.
Any way, i tryed to paint it close to ford maroon, only a little lighter, did not like the ford maroon, to dark for me.
it is all org. except for a 6 volt alt. i put on. it's been setting in some guy's basement sense 1972 untill i bought it, it runs great.
diden't mean to ramble on, and thanks for the kind words.

There's nothing bad to say about your Coupe. It looks great and I like your attitude about driving and enjoying it. Like everybody else, I appreciate and admire Model A's that are restored "as new", but a Model A in any body style that is driven and enjoyed it what it's all about in my book. We have a man locally who does just that with his TOWN CAR (no, not a Town Sedan).
