Apatchy proves himself

I drove Apatchy on his first true "shakedown cruise" today to a Ford Club fish fry at Roosevelt State Park in Warm Springs, GA, a 240 mile round trip. He had made some trips close around home, but nothing of this distance. He ran good, smooth, cool and swiftly for both the trip down, and the return trip. The farther he went, the smoother he performed. He didn't even "break a sweat" and presented himself well among other flatheads of equal or later vintage. Apatchy "done me proud" as we say down South.
