There’s on and off questions about an AOD behind a Yblock in place of a Fordomatic. This thread on the HAMB is the most complete I’ve seen. It’s a 54, but it’s thorough, even shows the new column shift plate and a bit on swapping in a modern rear end. Worth reading if that’s on your list of possible projects.
I would have used a more complete title, but I don’t know what to use to make it easier in the search function.
