Any 1955 steering column horn experts around?

The replacement part is exactly the same size as OEM, but every bullet connector I had was smaller, by a few thousandths.

Couldn't really tell, it might have been grease but it was low and needed some more.
At that point I was minutes from a successful completion, so I added some 140wt and kept on trucking. If I had opened the box and saw it packed with grease, I would have scooped out as much as possible- but since it wasn't and I couldn't tell....

It's too late now, but the bigger, Ford size bullet is available from the suppliers. I got mine from CASCO, the Tbird parts place. I assume others have them.

They have the modern type plastic on crimp end, but I remove that and use black shrink tubing for a more "factory" look after crimping.
