Got a dual side mount on my 47 and it's a vintage red ball antenna, but the cable end that goes into the radio is missing, broke off, and I got a cheap modern one but the thread on the house is fine thread, and on the original is course.
Please see the photo's below and let me know if you might have a cable that might work that you don't need and if the price is right then we can work together and help each other out.
top photo, just to show what I'm workin with, bottom you will see the top connection has a pin in it, where the antenna end slips over that pin and then there is a collar on the cable that screws on to the housing to hold it in place, the photo has a collar on it but I'm guessing the cables usually had them on there, but if not maybe I can use your cable an my collar.
The newer ones there is no way to get the collar off the antenna cable.
